Looking for help with setting up a virtual ASA on VMware ESXI. I am confused on what to do with the vswitch, here is what I have now....
3 Ports dedicated to the ASA. 1 management, a gi0/0 and a gi0/1. The management is working fine and I can ssh through it.
Now I am stuck trying to figure out how to configure the WAN and LAN ports. Do I keep them on the same vswitch, or does the WAN interface on the ASA need to go on a separate vswitch? There is a separate vswitch that has a physical VMNic labeled WAN.
Just very confused on how to do this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Cisco ASA virtual appliance (ASAv) Cisco ASAv is a re-imaged version of Cisco ASA specifically designed to run as a VM on top of some hypervisor. In fact, the same ASA code is running, but in different form factor. There are versions for vSphere, Hyper-V and KVM. Just because GNS3 use QEMU as a VM emulator we will employ the KVM image of ASAv.
